Science Home Learning Friday
13th June 2014
Our science lessons for the next two weeks will be linked to the
SRE taught in school.
Lesson one:
We begin by looking at family photographs and discuss visual
similarities between families. For example we ask the children if they have the
same colour hair or eyes as their sibling or parent. It would be very helpful
if your child had a family photograph they could show.
In lesson two
We look at the lifecycle of a human and discuss how children
change as they grow. For example: babies crawl, toddlers walk, children can
climb, teenagers can run fast, adults begin to slow down and elderly adults may
need a stick to help them to walk.
For home learning please could you help your child to complete
the attached family tree and bring it along to the first lesson. If this is not
appropriate due to family circumstances please leave it blank.
In 3TH these lessons will be held on:
Lesson 1 – Friday 20th June
Lesson 2 – Thursday 26th June
Thank you
